Anxiety & Overwhelm in Adult Women

Woman with a distressed expression, hands on her head, with a foggy or hazy overlay

Many women are managing a lot: careers, family, relationships, and the unspoken emotional load that comes with it all. Over time, the pressure to “keep it all together” can lead to anxiety, irritability, exhaustion, or feeling disconnected from yourself. Together, we’ll create space to slow down, tune in, and find realistic, holistic ways to manage stress—without guilt or burnout.

Teen & Young Adult Support (Ages 12–25)

Young people today are under enormous pressure—from school, peers, social media, and the expectations of others. I work with teens and college-age clients who are struggling with emotional ups and downs, anger, anxiety, school stress, and relationships. We focus on building confidence, coping skills, and problem-solving tools to help them feel more in control of their choices, emotions, and future.

For student-athletes, the pressure can be even greater. Balancing academics, sports performance, team expectations, and personal life can take a toll on mental health. I support young athletes in managing stress, staying grounded, and learning how to care for their emotional well-being—not just their physical performance. In therapy, they’ll find a space to slow down, be honest, and build tools for both in and out the gym.

Stress, Burnout & Emotional Load in Black Men and Boys

Black men and boys often carry a weight that goes unseen—expected to be strong, stoic, and “keep it moving” no matter what. But stress, anger, and emotional pain don’t just disappear when ignored. Whether it shows up as shutting down, lashing out, or feeling constantly on edge, I provide a space where you can openly discuss and work through your experiences

In our work together, we’ll unpack the pressure you’re under—whether it’s from school, family, work, or the world—and find practical, culturally grounded ways to manage emotions, set boundaries, and move through life with more ease and clarity.

Relationship Patterns & Boundaries

Whether it’s family, friendships, or romantic partners, relationships can be both our greatest source of support and stress. I help clients explore recurring patterns, clarify what they need from others, and learn how to communicate boundaries with strength and clarity—without shutting down or shrinking themselves.

Support for Black & Mixed-Race Women and Girls

As a culturally responsive therapist, I provide a space where your identity, lived experiences, and emotions are seen, heard, and respected. Whether you're navigating cultural expectations, identity stress, or generational patterns, our work will center your voice and your healing—without judgment.

Life Transitions & Identity Growth

Big changes—graduation, moving out, a new job, a breakup—can leave you feeling lost, stuck, or unsure of your next steps. I support adults and teens while moving through these transitions, helping you reconnect with yourself, your values, and your goals.
